The Forum addressed the importance of implementing sustainable and quality school feeding programs in the region, while highlighting their contribution in other sectors, such as food systems, supporting smallholder farmers, improving child nutrition and health, and strengthening climate action.

In addition, the event highlighted the commitment and achievements of governments to school meals and the role of partnerships, including the School Food Coalition, in a robust exchange of data and evidence; knowledge and best practices; and experiences and opportunities.
